I’ve been trying to take my friend’s advice and learn from it and grow with it…
First item of advice: don’t wear Crocs anymore, ever… I love the comfort and the ease of just sliding my foot in these comfy and squishy shoes, but I know, I must move on… I’ve bought some sandals that fit and are comfortable, so I will just be a “closet Crocs wearer” for now.
Next, is the idea of getting better with age… I have more issues to deal with when deciding what food to consume and purchase at the store these days, and more issues when it comes to digestion of said foods, but other than that, I guess I’m getting better… maybe.
Another way I’m trying to take advice is through my resume writing and job search. I’ve enlisted help on writing my promotional resume, and it really does look wonderful: I appear very talented and quite possibly a genius. As for the “real” resume of work experience, and help in finding out what I really want to do in life: I’m going to need a little more help from my friends. A college friend just gave me some good advice on what she thinks I’d be good at, and how to go about doing it. I’ll have to look more into this once I get to San Antonio, but for now, I will take the advice and review some case studies.
One of my joys in life is spending time with my dogs, even if it just includes napping and walking. I’ve taken my friend’s advice to not spend so much time with them and all it got me was stuck babysitting her and her kids. That was not fun, although I now appreciate my life and family more because of that experience.
I’m trying to empty out my fridge and freezer for the move, so my food favorites are:
Almond Butter – I like the natural kind with no additives other than salt
Corn tortillas – always gotta check if they have gluten in them first
Food For Life Wheat Free Gluten Free Rice Bread – reminds me of honey wheat bread, only sweeter; I make mini pizza’s with the bread and Trader Joe’s marinara sauce.
My birthday cakes were from Sweet Cece’s – most of their flavors are gluten free and low or no fat. They also always have at least one sorbet. And, their treats and toppings are awesome! (I really did try to stay away from dairy, but it was my birthday!)
